Our story began with our passion to share a more healthful approach to cooking, eating and drinking. In the Summer of 2013, we opened Beatrix, a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.
We established a culinary culture rooted in working with local vendors and ingredients and partnered with several iconic Chicago roasters to earn a loyal following for our innovative coffee menu.
In the Spring of 2020, we began to develop what we considered to be the perfect cup of coffee – a smooth, low acid brew that could be enjoyed black or with a splash of your favorite milk. We worked with a tasting committee of coffee lovers and a local roaster to develop our first blend.
Beatrix Coffee Roasters now features Medium, Dark, Espresso and Decaf Roasts, and it is our continued goal to bring great tasting, quality coffee to your neighborhood.
